In a wildflower meadow surrounded by forests, our bees collect enough pollen and nectar to thrive in the warm seasons and survive the long Michigan winter.  When the bees make an abundance of honey, we take special care to collect the surplus. To preserve the delicate phytonutrients, antioxidants, and proteins found only in raw honey, our processing is kept to the absolute minimum. Hartwick Harvest honey is filtered directly from the comb into the bottle – never heated.
